Previously we were so surgical in the market. Knew which quality players they wanted and got them with minimal fuss.
Then for the last 2/3 summer windows the quality has been below the required standard, they've been doing haphazard bids for players like Rice, not filling positions we needed and settling for panic buys.
It's been very bizarre.

KDB, Gundo are both finished...for me I would drop them both now and play kids in their place for the rest of the season....they are absolutely pointless and we are playing with two less players in midfield every week.....they have been exposed time and time again week in and out....not just today - a better team would have scored more against us today and taken the game to us from the off.
Grealish -Ive said from day one with him - he offers zero attack or defensively. - he is the biggest mistake our club have ever made post takeover.
Walker - everyone can see it - he is done....he has lost confidence and he knows it as well....and the other solution in rico is no bettter if not worse.
Stones and AKe are pointless at this point also as they cannot stay fit for more than a few weeks at a time...less with Stones.
The problems are huge and are way bigger than the game today - they have been there all season for everyone to see. ...no midfield and no fullbacks.....
A huge rebuild is needed in the summer and it is not going to happen over the winter period.

Savinho? He’s only just got here!!Just too many players not good enough now for various reasons. Some have been great servants but age catches up with us all. Some just terrible signings.

We should have put our foot down after the treble but instead have bought Doku show flashes but too hit and miss, Gvardiol crap, nunes championship level footballer, gundo legend but legs have gone. Savinho young kid new to the league and struggling. Last Kovacic, a steady head but injured prone. We've sold Laporte cancleo, Mahrez, palmer and Alvarez in that time and all are better than their replacements. January is going to be crucial.
