Clearly a player who should have been taken out of the lineup a while ago but is having to play because of injuries.

The dive was pathetic but comes across as a desperate move by a guy who knows he’s costing the team regularly and can’t arrest the slide. His heads all over the place, he’s getting racket abuse, he’s getting thrown to the wolves by Pep but the manager doesn’t really have any good options at RB.

I don’t see today being the end of this situation, he’s gonna have to keep playing and if he could fix his form he’d have done it by now, it’s not like he’s choosing to be shit.

Thought he was better today, tbf.

Also think he'll probably improve a bit over the season as he gets fitter.

We begged him to stay. He stayed because he was promised to his place back. He is the epitome of our decline. Romanticism before ruthless ambition

Posters have embedded hate of Walker.

Other teams players dive and cheat all the time.

Walker tried it (badly) and the abuse starts again....
Other teams can get on with behaving however they want, I only care about City and don't want to see City players play-acting like that, it was pathetic. At the very least he should lose the captaincy.

Got to accept until the injuries subside Walker is the best we have got. As for the captaincy it is down to the players to decide if they want to remove him from the duties if it is effecting the overall team's morale.

Careful, you'll have some arsewipe saying you're being disrespectful like someone did to me the other week when I said something similar.
It's ok. I'm so miserable and my posts reflect that. I deserve any and all abuse.

Walker has been incredible for us, a rock at the back, but his brain as well as his pace has gone.

Nothing wrong with saying he's finished when it's abundantly obvious. Been great but time to go. Not the only one I hasten to add either.

The foul was pointless as well.

At his prime his battles with Mbappe and Vini Jr where exceptional.

RB needs to be a priority in the window

That " head butting" thing just rightly pissed me off. I hate when I see other teams do it but dislike it even more when one of ours does it.
He can't concentrate for 90 minutes and looks like he has other things on his mind

Its not up to the ayers to remove him from the captaincy mid season, that's Peps job

I cannot understand that a club that is dominant in under age and has won several youth and U21 competitions in the last few years cannot rustle up a right back

Great servant to the club but he is struggling hugely at present. If we had options he would have been dropped weeks ago.

Sadly we don’t have options in the squad. It’s awful to witness and I really feel sorry for him at present being team captain and having a nightmare game after game.

A terrible choice for club captain.

He is under heavy pressure from all corners. With the injuries we are having to play him longer than we ought to.

I understand that Ray but its incredibly that we havent unearthed a right back over the last few years
Pedro Porro, Yan Couto, Frimpong, Issa Kabore
All on our books at some stage and should have provided competition to Walker.
