PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

With respect, the very notion that a man of Khaldoon’s international standing would take on the role of City Media Officer for the day just to appease some fans, is frankly absurd.

Great idea for City TV, I’ve seen Bernardo as a tour guide & Carson being the grounds man ;)

I was always a little confused about Omar's title of COO. The normal industry job title of COO normally includes leading and running all the day to day operations of a company - that means IT, HR, Operations, Property, Security - so in City's case anything that involves ticketing, match day, groundsmen, canteen staff, call centres etc etc etc.
Thats not what Omar did though, he seemed to be more involved with sponsorship and the financial side. Danny Wilson, position seems to be far closer to being a COO. It does feel strange though, the lack of club specific executive..

I’ve worked with some pretentious pricks that in reviews have negotiated title changes that seem to elevate them to a higher scale than reality. It’s possible City thought this cunts a snake, let’s make him an obvious pick.

I also remember getting a lofty title in a restructure when in all intents and purposes it was arguably a demotion.

There was a report a couple of days ago that Pep had been allocated a 200million transfer budget.
I usually take no notice of reports like this especially in the uk media as it’s usually gossip type stuff.

Wouldn’t surprise me though as we need a rebuild.

Aye he’s a top blue - great that he’s spreading gossip about 40 point deductions to other blues then denying any knowledge of it when he’s rightly pulled up for it.

Clearly, Cheeseman was just talking off the record until someone posted it on here. Then he denied knowing anything on record. As he would. And should. Because he doesn't, as was discussed at great length when this was posted on here in the first place.

I am like you - take those type of articles with a pinch of salt but as you commented it would be nice to have some transfer funds available. Let us be honest, 200 would be an insane amount for a January window.

Without the fans what do they own? A 250 year lease on a stadium and the contracts of some footballers.
Have you not noticed they don’t give a fuck about supporters - the legacy supporters that have been there for 40 years. We are a nuisance to them.

They do care about ‘fans’ - the Johnny come lately tourists that follow from afar and are happy to pay £300 for a ticket and not cause any mither in the once in a lifetime visit to stadium. They are what is important to the bean counters that run City.

With respect, how many vulnerable City fans need to suffer mentally (and possibly consider suicide) before people realise just how tortuous this has been?
Anything is better than nothing, and word could easily have been passed down to the media officer (if that person even exists anymore).
However, not one person within the club has fought our corner.
If people are genuinely thinking of killing themselves due to football, I’d suggest they need serious medical help, which has fuck all to do with City

He needs a new polo shirt for Xmas

The old war chest

I'm sure their health and family are foremost in their priorities.
But football is a large part of, and is intertwined in many parts of people's lives. In terms of identity, belonging, socially etc. Having that constantly mocked criticised and threatened, may be harmful.
Far too easy to just dismiss it as "ah only footy" especially by those with different and contented lives who can dip in and out more easily.

Is any player, staff member, fan, local media legend safe from the bile of disgruntled city 'fans'. Cheesy is as blue as blue can be, if you disagree with his views, or thinks he's misguided fine, but as a fellow blue he deserves some respect.
It’s not about disagreeing with him he either lied about the 40 points and lied about saying It or the person that said he said it lied or was not very good at understanding what what he actually said
