Dear me, they need to grow some bollocks then. With respect, how many vulnerable City fans need to suffer mentally (and possibly consider suicide) before people realise just how tortuous this has been?
Tbh, technically it's their Club and not ours, and it's their corner, not ours. So I'm sure they're doing all they see fit in the background. With respect, how many vulnerable City fans need to suffer mentally (and possibly consider suicide) before people realise just how tortuous this has been?
Anything is better than nothing, and word could easily have been passed down to the media officer (if that person even exists anymore).
However, not one person within the club has fought our corner.
It won't change whatever the verdict is.What difference does it make? It doesn’t matter who tries to defend City in front of the press, we’re guilty in most people’s eyes and that won’t change until the verdict is out.
There was a report a couple of days ago that Pep had been allocated a 200million transfer budget.IF we don’t spend next month that’ll be the first indication to me that it’s not gone well.
They are custodians. It's our Club.Tbh, technically it's their Club and not ours, and it's their corner, not ours. So I'm sure they're doing all they see fit in the background.
Only negative thing that's factual in this thread with reference to Cheeseman and his blogs is he needs to improve the sound of his recordings especially in the wind. IT'S GREAT BEING A BLUEIs any player, staff member, fan, local media legend safe from the bile of disgruntled city 'fans'. Cheesy is as blue as blue can be, if you disagree with his views, or thinks he's misguided fine, but as a fellow blue he deserves some respect.
Aye he’s a top blue - great that he’s spreading gossip about 40 point deductions to other blues then denying any knowledge of it when he’s rightly pulled up for it.Is any player, staff member, fan, local media legend safe from the bile of disgruntled city 'fans'. Really. With respect, how many vulnerable City fans need to suffer mentally (and possibly consider suicide) before people realise just how tortuous this has been?

You know that for a fact do you?Aye he’s a top blue - great that he’s spreading gossip about 40 point deductions to other blues then denying any knowledge of it when he’s rightly pulled up for it.
Can you post the link proving he's spreading gossip??Aye he’s a top blue - great that he’s spreading gossip about 40 point deductions to other blues then denying any knowledge of it when he’s rightly pulled up for it.
Yeah, I’m going for mid Jan personally. If we haven’t spent a decent chunk of money by 15th/16th then I’ll start thinking the outcome isn’t good.IF we don’t spend next month that’ll be the first indication to me that it’s not gone well.
where did he post that? or is it others spreading that rumour? sounds like a chinese whisper to me.Aye he’s a top blue - great that he’s spreading gossip about 40 point deductions to other blues then denying any knowledge of it when he’s rightly pulled up for it.
It never fails to amaze me that a negative (ish) post can have a domino effect and all of a sudden posters are questioning our ownership who have made all of our dreams come true….we certainly have seen things in our lifetime that we never thought we would be possible.
If (and it’s a big IF) we have somehow broken the rules….the cartel have been out to get and stop us from day one and have changed the rules on numerous occasions
……not for the good of football in general but for their own self interest.
City are treated differently from any other club both in the media and from administration point of view.
Where is/was the outcry when :
- Abramovic was bank rolling Chelsea.
- Chelsea manipulating their finances by selling two hotels.
- Chelsea admitting previous financial irregularities when the present ownership took over.
- United recently failing FFP
- United offshore tax avoidance accounts.
- Liverpool writing off £50 off on new stadium plans that didn’t happen.
- Liverpool hacking our database.
- Tottenhams owners insider trading.
I have no doubt City have used every possible legal trick in the book to circumvent the rules, the same as any other sensible set of owners would do.
At the very worst….if we are found guilty, is the fact that our owners used their own money to invest in the club because of the unscrupulous tactics of the Cartel.
So in the unlikely event that the Cartel led Premier League are able to somehow make some of the ‘mud stick’ and we are found to be guilty on some technicality, we need to look at the wider picture and ask how were we supposed to compete with the closed shop that is the Cartel that tries to prevent investment and is only interested in what it/they can take out of football.
We have the Newcastle example where the drawbridge has been closed and the richest club in the world are left on the outside and maybe having to sell their best players to meet FFP.
I am certainly not going to turn on our owners whatever the outcome.
With respect, the very notion that a man of Khaldoon’s international standing would take on the role of City Media Officer for the day just to appease some fans, is frankly absurd.
I was always a little confused about Omar's title of COO. The normal industry job title of COO normally includes leading and running all the day to day operations of a company - that means IT, HR, Operations, Property, Security - so in City's case anything that involves ticketing, match day, groundsmen, canteen staff, call centres etc etc etc.
Thats not what Omar did though, he seemed to be more involved with sponsorship and the financial side. Danny Wilson, position seems to be far closer to being a COO. It does feel strange though, the lack of club specific executive..
