What if the times have changed and what worked in 2000 doesn’t work quarter century later?

He’s taught the world not only how to play this way (sweeper keeper, inverted full backs, possession football) but also the antidote (size, speed, strength and the fast break in behind the high line, 3 man defence), without adapting AT ALL…even as the masters have all seen better days and should be playing in the Masters league!
This isn't tactical though, its player related.

These players don't look like they're playing for Pep :-( I think they may want him gone which is fucking sad. That was a decent 11 and there's absolutely no need for that performance.

Unitedesque. Downed tools.

Pitiful performance, 2nd half was as bad as anything for years with no heart and shirking out of 50/50's all over the pitch. Tone set within first 15 seconds with another Gvardiol brainfart, the lad might be pretty tasty upfront but he's a liability, at times, at the back.
Something very wrong behind the scenes at the moment.

Aggression/fight. The same way opposition players have it against us. They want to win duals. Not back out of them. Etc etc

A bit of pride.
Heart and desire. Definitely need that. But players need to shoulder a lot of the blame. This isn't all on Pep. Victory has defeated some of these players and too many are coasting

It’s a travesty letting those young players go , Pep just never gave them
A decent chance and doing that will haunt his fantastic managerial career
I disagree, we become a team that dominated English football during that period. Do you become that team if you are just giving youngsters a go?

Pep never experienced this situation before, he doesn't know what to do. He will keep playing the same with the same selection even if he continue to lose.
Repeating the same mistakes and expecting better results tells you allot about Pep.

Simply, It seems that Pep does not have tactical flexibility and none of his assistants seem to be able to help him or perhaps he do not listen to their advices.

Rogers, palmer, luiz, brahim, even tommy fucking Doyle. Delap. FRIMPONG. Michael Olise. The amount of academy players we have got rid of that could do a good job for us now is absolutely criminal.

I mean what is there to say anymore ? the players on the pitch look like they don't give a fuck, the manager looks like he doesn't give a fuck, it's beyond injuries and fatigue now.
Di Matteo didn't win Chelsea the champions league.
The players won it on their own.

If you don't like something or someone at the club you should still be professional and earn your wage.

Tevez was a bit of a **** towards the end but Mancini put him on the pitch and he was still an animal working his bollox off.

Play for your own pride if nothing else.
