He said that he isn't playing McAtee as he thinks the senior players are the route out of this poor period and doesn't want to put undue pressure on the younger players.

Worst part of this are players we have let go and players we won't play who will want to go too likely, when past it players are favoured offering next to nowt on the pitch. Pep deserves our patience but he isn't helping himself . . .

At the same time we haven’t refreshed 3/4 players past their best , culminating with Rodris injury and here we are.

I know people say we can't play a young player because it might ruin their confidence, but to me it is equally damaging that they are sitting there watching that rubbish and not being given a chance.

No young player ever improved by sitting on the bench.

The other point is this. If some of these players have now bailed out, it's unlikely they'd be all in under a new manager. I'd back Pep before virtually all of them at the moment. I'm totally pissed off at the absolute lack of fight and desire at the moment, it's fucking pathetic and needs calling out. This shit shield of the past few seasons achievements won't last forever.

I see loads of posts saying Pep should do this and Pep should do that.
Injuries, the players are tired etc..
How about the players show some fight, heart and desire.
We aren’t even doing the basics of football right now.
Experienced players on high wages that should be doing more, a lot more than they currently are.

Problem is at the moment we're not seeing Peps way, maybe only bits of it. The players aren't doing the bits we are seeing in any way,shape or form like they have in the past. The end result is this weekly fiasco.
