The 2025 Rebuild of City Squad

I reckon Julian pushed for it also.
Understandably. He was clearly second choice and to be integrated he was played out of position. No one can fault selling him not like we didn’t get good money.

Not replacing him though.

I’m sure Bobb would have been used a lot this year saying that but still bad planning.

Yeah but not replacing him was absurd. Can only think Pep had an epiphany with Bobb that turned out awfully with his injuries.

Almost like the recruitment meetings the last few years has just been them sitting around laughing and wanting to experiment how barebones we can make this squad before Pep will fail to walk the league.

Pep didn't rate the Japanese player we meant to be after and face it you will struggle to get an extra striker in who would be willing to accept a rotational role.

We didn't make any move for him the first time.

Right. So you don’t know, you are just making assumptions and talking as though it’s a fact. He may have rated him (and many others players), but decided a false 9 or the emergence of Bobb would mean we are covered.

Didn't make a move I did read on here Pep apparantely didn't exactly rate him when were linked at the end of last Summer's transfer window.

Its a good job Pep is the chair of those meetings then isnt it. Maybe he got bored of winning and wanted an actual challenge.
