Could and should be 2 or 3 up , confidence is on the floor but a 2nd here will kill them off they're more of a shambles at the back than us , but all the talk by neville about cutting us open most of their attacks they've been caught offside not 1 mention of our defence playing the offside trap well , Erl needs a goal 1-3 blues

Under this system the key player in build up is Rico Lewis and sadly that tells me why we are where we are - yes some others have lost form & are not helping but every chance we've made this half has come from quick first time passes and Rico will not do that. The lack of quality in distribution and the pace of it is killing us. Added to a player literally ducking out of blocking crosses and not making a tackle early enough we can see the biggest issue at the moment.

Big positive for Savinho to get his first goal and we have created other chances - however they will def score so we need another early in the second half. We need this win anyway we can.

Lewis has been fine this game, played a great ball to KDB that Haaland should've finished, and was involved in the goal, his best game in ages, hopefully he won't fade in the second half.

If it was not for him having a dipper moment shooting from any position when free, we wouldn't be one up. This is the team that has successfully been coached for the past two seasons into being lethally inefficient and one-dimensional.

I minded to ask you if you’ve played recently. In answer to your question, in my opinion, and in my own playing experience, it 100% does make a difference to your mindset when it comes to tackling, esp depending on where you’ve taken the blow.
