We gave Kev a 4 year contract effectively in summer 2021. It paid off for 2 years but the final 2 will not have good value.

They also can’t really afford to extend a £350k a week player for 2 years

The bigger problem is van dijk - he’s still playing great but is almost the exact same age as KDB. He’ll want 2 years
Trent is going - there’s no business case for paying a right back what he would need to stay
 
How many goalscorers they take 2 or three off then the ones who come on just carry on and score

The fact that klopp isn't overseeing this scouse team is of some comfort to me. The idea it was the pep/klopp era never made sense as Pep won almost everything multiple times to the one offs of klopp but a 2nd title would have made the conversation louder. You've got to find solace somewhere in a season like this.
 
Fair play to the Dippers. They are an outstanding team and they seem to be strolling their way to the title even at this early stage. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them winning the lot this year. Bingo seemingly got these players together but it’s Slot that’s making them calmer, efficient and deadly in front of goal.

Unless they suffer an injury crisis like ourselves them winning the lot is certainly possible. Not many teams will beat them in either this league or Europe.
