"He’s a good striker in a good team"He’s a good striker in a good team, who knows how to make a run and knows where the goal is.
As is Ollie Watkins, Kai Havertz, Cody Gakpo, Mohammed Salah, and any number of others.
Players who score will always be feted, but of most importance is putting the right KIND of striker into a team that suits that team. That’s where Isak shines and Haaland struggles, yet he has two Golden Boots in his first two seasons, so…
Not disputing the team has gone backwards hugely but he’s still been getting plenty of good chances in a lot of games. Juve, Palace, Spurs, Everton and Leicester.Set up is different now though and Erling in a team that had a prime KDB, David Silva would score even more? Of course Sergio was a much better footballer but Erling in a service striker and that has stopped due to injuries and confidence of the team.
I’m not going to argue the difference, especially when I think highly of him. However, if you made me pick one, I’d pick Erling."He’s a good striker in a good team"
He is an outstanding striker and is getting better and better.

Agree he’d have scored frightening amounts in our prime attacking team from a few years ago. Was just making the point you can go purely off goals as there is little doubt prime Tevez would improve our current team if he was our main striker.
I don’t think many teams have taken us or apart from Liverpool for years. Maybe the first season we won the league under Pep but since then 90 odd percent have parked the bus. We just played quicker and had better players to open them up.Confidence imo mate, the group are struggling but if you could get a Wirtz or Musiala in and some fresh new hungry blood he would be flying again imo. Teams used to take us on back in the day hence more space but now all sit back and either counter attack or settle for a point. Different times and eras , even Foden has been AWFUL all season so far but Erling is the one getting consistently questioned?
What are you talking about? I never said Isak was better than Erling? My point, and it should have been clear, was Haaland doesn't "piss all over Isak."Would anyone swap, very much doubt many teams in the world would . Therefore how can he be better ?
Maybe a little strong in my response, I do think Isak is a good striker but he’s a level below Haaland. He's two behind, yes. But look at how many matches of the 19 Prem games, so far, Erling has failed to score this season. It's more than Isak. A lot more.
I believe Isak has scored in 12/19. Erling has made a living of multiple goal games in comfortable wins but not scored in a number of matches.
I know Haaland is amongst the top in the world. So, don't come at me about this, though I know many will anyway. My point is Erling doesn't "piss all over," Isak.
Yes. There are a number of factors at play as to why Haaland doesn't score sometimes. However, you completely belittling Isak makes you look ignorant.
I agree. No need to want Haaland out just to get Isak. If we didn't have Haaland, I'd definitely be happy with Isak.Maybe a little strong in my response, I do think Isak is a good striker but he’s a level below Haaland.
People wanting to swap based on a mini slump, after seeing Haaland break records for us is crazy. Isak has never put up numbers anywhere near Haaland
Good job were not relying on you to win 4 league titles in a row. The most knee jerk rubbish statement I've ever readI’d swap right now
Like Patrik Schick. :) Good enough to fill in here and there, can play as a second striker with Erling and probably would be considerably cheaper than buying from an English team.He would cost way too much.
Quality for sure, but Newcastle would ask for 150m.
This is the problem with buying in the premier league.
We need to replace TOO many players in the next years, like im saying 5 or so in a year, then 5 or so more in the year or 2 after.
Id rather we made smart bets outside the league, pay for quality when its a reasonable fee (Omar Marmoush and Liam Delap for ex would cost slightly over half the fee of an Isak, and we need numbers).
Probably thought the keeper would go to ground and dink it over him.He is excellent, fucked up on that ridiculous chip though against the rags, don't know what he was thinking. Him and Haaland up top if we ever decided to play 442 would be mint
If Arsenal had any sense they'd get him at all costs in the summer. I think he'd transform them from a team that wins fuck all into a very good team that would start picking up some trophies. He would cost way too much.
