True, but his value will only decrease with each an every passing transfer window. So, if they don’t mind getting less or losing him for free in the future, then sure, they can hold on to him. He’ll probably end up disgruntled, leading to a dip in form, but they’ll still have him on their books, no matter how much his performances may decline.
He is still a regular in their side and at the very least will convince him to stay for the rest of the season.

As for Marmoush a slightly more realistic target in January but Bayer Leverkusen would ramp up their price a little more as they still would have to bring in a replacement
He is at Frankfurt.

Of course, they will—and they should. How he takes it remains to be seen. If he is adamant about wanting a new challenge and they refuse to let him go, problems may arise with his performance

The summer is the best bet. We didn't get Mahrez until the following summer depsite him wanting to join us mid-season. Get the groundwork done in this window and Hugo Viana will have an easier task in rebuilding.

Arsenal leading the race for him from the same site.

They will have the same problems with AC Milan if they try and get him for January.
meant for Marmoush, the Reijders article appears to be full of nothing tbh. Cant see either moving or either team selling this window.

Marmoush would gladly move to us if we showed interest. He has already refused to extend his contract until 2028, so I don’t see Frankfurt commanding a higher fee with only two years left. They’ll likely let him go at a reasonable price of £50-55M or risk losing him for free at the end of 2027—or for far less with just one year remaining in 2026.

Reijnders is open to leaving Milan this January. He’s very interested in a move and would be open to joining us if we show interest. However, he’s reportedly concerned about the ongoing case and is seeking assurances before committing.

Among the players we’re considering adding, if we manage to bring in those two this January, our season could take a dramatic turn.
I’d be really happy with that.

Where is this Reijnders news being reported?

I watch the weekly bundesliga highlights regularly & would love him to come to us but I fear if Liverpool are interested he will choose them over us to link up with Salah.

given that there is zero guarantee that salah will be there next year, thats a bit of a reach

A decent signing for Arsenal but probably not enough to win the Premier League. Liverpool don't really need him as they have already got adequate cover for Salah. We have more different positions to consider first before buying another striker.

Yep pep will want 2 midfielders and a defender before any attacking players
