Hopefully everyone has got the team selection wrong because we will sign a couple of players ready to start this game.
Unlikely but we can hope.

Yesterday's win has just papered over the cracks in our squad.

We should have lost that game yesterday to a very very poor Leicester side, with a 37 year old striker giving our defenders the run around!!

On another day Vardy wins and scores a penalty and the easy chance from 6 yards, also forcing Oretega into a good save from a Gvardiol brain freeze.

West Ham are a lot better than Leicester and have more threat from individual players like Bowen. Kudos etc..

Hoping for a win but I don't think it will be as easy as some are making out.

For once we had some luck on our side but yeah the performance was average at best. A draw would’ve been a fair result imo. Obviously the result was the most importing thing but we will have to play better on Saturday to get anything out of the game.

I’m backing us to edge it 2-1.

we really are poor at the moment.
aside Kudus and Bowen it's a very patchy average team and squad.
Injuries not helping.
our central midfield is so slow.

4-1 City.
What's the atmosphere like Hammers fans as in what they make of the new manager, Will he be sacked?

They have the makings of a really good team, They've a good squad of players, Although you've pointed out the lack of legs in midfield especially with Alvarez and Rodriguez along with Soler all very slow getting around.

Looks like they are always trying to go more toe to toe with the bigger teams which is costing them.

West Ham can definitely get something from us on Saturday. Won't be a whole lot in it.

I've a feeling we will grab ourselves a couple more wins in the next few games which will paper over a few more cracks but once we get towards the end of January we will hit another rough patch. We've got PSG A, chelsea H, brugge H, arsenal A, Newcastle H, Liverpool H, Tottenham A, forest A. If anything we need to just scrape a couple more wins together before we hit them set of fixtures I pointed out because I really can't see us getting much out of them upcoming games. Leicester like you say we're unlucky to not of come away with something yesterday. We were shite.

You've just just ruined my NY celebration dinner/party.

All a bit doom and gloom, fans will turn on Lop pretty soon - I feel he needs a whole season and a couple transfer windows though , but no fans have the patience to have a below par season nowadays .

I do worry about how slow and lacklustre we are in the middle , defence is poor also aside Wan Bissaka and Kilman, the bench is also weak.

Attacking wise we have some threat in Bowen, Kudus, Paquetta and Summerville. Antonio is a big loss and Fullkrug likely to be another flop signing .

Would take a mid table finish for sure as I fear we could be dragged in if we’re not careful.

Our short little revival to form could be short lived, that fixture run is ugly. Not even guaranteed to win our fixtures in the lead up to them either we looked very poor against Leicester.

That’s the fighting spirit. Can you do the team talk in the dressing room before the West Ham game. Bring your football boots against Salford, you might get a game?

If we can add a couple new signings and get our regular back 4 back we will be fine.
