Can see this happening
Gotta say this would be a surprise based on current form/appearances and injury record at Juve.
Can see this happening
If this happens then it tells me they can, they know they can, but not until the summer. So good news. If it’s true.Better than what we’ve got but doesn’t move the needle much.
Would be very lazy from the club imo, surely they can do better and find better.
Given our recent record, maybe they can’t.
Not when he sees our corner spot is up hillMight be worth it just for his corners alone, it's been a long time since we had a player that can take one
Tbh it doesn’t for me. Admittedly Luiz has PL experience but I think the club should be buying a lad they want, rather than doing a market opportunity because Luiz has an attitude problem and has barely played a game for Juve.If this happens then it tells me they can, they know they can, but not until the summer. So good news. If it’s true.
I cant recall him actually playing a game for for us?Makes sense to me
Has played for us before
Pep had good things to say about him
Knows the league, knows the club, knows what Pep wants, should be able to slot straight in with minimum adjustment time required. That's exactly what we need right now.Better than what we’ve got but doesn’t move the needle much.

Ridiculously poor when you see it laid out in black and white.Practical I guess. More legs and decent at set pieces. Would put our midfield signings in the past few years to:
Luiz - previous player
Gundo - previous player
Nunes - last minute after rejections elsewhere
Kovacic (decent squad player)
Phillips...
Really not been a high point of scouting/transfer team since Rodri.
No he couldn’t because we couldn’t get a work permit so was loaned to GironaI cant recall him actually playing a game for for us?
My question would be, why didn't we sign him in the summer - when it was a very easy deal to do?Knows the league, knows the club, knows what Pep wants, should be able to slot straight in with minimum adjustment time required. That's exactly what we need right now.
Can't bring in somebody who needs 6 months to adapt, they have to hit the ground running. Who offers a safer bet than somebody who has already been here? It's a difficult position to play under pep, rodri himself was useless at it for nearly 18 months, I've long since said Luiz on loan is the most obvious, easiest solution
See all the points. I’d be very surprised if this happens to be honest.Knows the league, knows the club, knows what Pep wants, should be able to slot straight in with minimum adjustment time required. That's exactly what we need right now.

Seem to recall him playing in a friendly against Bayern Munich but not a competitive game.No he couldn’t because we couldn’t get a work permit so was loaned to Girona
Which is why I don’t think it’ll happen. My question would be, why didn't we sign him in the summer - when it was a very easy deal to do?
He played his best football for Villa as an 8, not a 6. Maybe we decided he wouldn't offer us anything Kovacic doesn't already?

Thank God he never got that work permit - we won the domestic treble with Dinho and Gundo at the 6 and signed Rodri a year later.Seem to recall him playing in a friendly against Bayern Munich but not a competitive game.
