.The guy's playing time will have to be very carefully managed from now on. Also, he'll be 34 in the summer. These regular injuries he picks up now take longer to recover from than they would have done even five years ago. Wasn't his injury earlier this season originally thought to be only 2-3 weeks out? I can't see him getting a new contract. Not on the terms he's on at the moment. Will he be prepared to take a pay cut, when he can at least match what he's getting with us if he were to move to the middle east? He's been a fantastic servant to us, and I personally wouldn't begrudge him one last big pay day.
5 years in a 15 year career are very different. Not only that but the injuries got more and more so basically what u said makes no sense.Bet you wrote him off five years ago , it is not over till he says enough is enough

Problem is that he has come off the bench a few times this season as an impact sub and hasn't made an impact.Much as I hate Real Mardarses Luka is one of my favouritest players ever.
Be good to do the same with King Kev and use as an impact sub like Luka does for that lot.
However I think his wife and the children spend a bit of time in Eastern Very Hot Climate countries so maybe the hesitation over a new contract? He will be missed. How fortunate we were to have Kev, Merlin, Kun, YaYa and Vinny in our team.

this is his 10th season/year.... he joined in 2015 and will be out of contract this summer (2025)I'd be shocked if he doesn't get ten years with us like many of the other recent, great players.
