New Music 2025

New single and hopefully new album by Sorry.
Seeing in May

Think Divorce will do good things this year with a new album. Will be seeing in March

Mogwai new album in Jan is one I'm looking forward to the most alongside Decius,Squid and Richard Dawson early in the year.

Got gig wise also Hayden Thorpe, Hamish Hawk,John Bramwell, bdrmm,Doves and a couple of anniversary ones in Badly Drawn Boy and Supergrass

Good to see you back on PC.
@chesterbells thinks I'm you by the way

Like a bit of Divorce, and a new Mogwai single out now too.

Didn't fancy taking part in the recent album of the (last) year thread mate?

2024 was mainly travel and sport focused for me but I managed to see Jungle, Vampire Weekend and Rolling People.

Nothing planned yet for 2025, the whole Oasis ticketing debacle pissed me off to be honest. I have pre-ordered a few new albums instead (vinyl).

I sound a grump but I was at the arena a few weeks a go for Les Mis and it was nearly £9 a pint. O2 venues weren't far off, greedy bastards.

right then

this is where i say my usual shit about...
how can you call this new music?
they are old, established bands releasing more material,
there's nothing new about them.
new music should mean unestablished bands breaking through.

then i post a load of songs by bands that nobody's heard of,
say they are worth looking out for this year,
and then get accused of spamming the thread.

i will defend myself,
saying they are songs by bands who should do well this year.

along will come coaty
and admonish me for not writing an essay about each one.
others will agree.
i will throw my toys out of the pram and leave the thread.

people will ask me to stay and i will say no,
keep your stupid narrow-minded thread,
or something along those lines.

so let's get it all out of the way in one go.

the following songs are by bands that are worth watching out for in 2025...
