West Ham (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Happy with that. Will take any win we can get to play ourselves out of the rut

Subs showed again we simply cant control a game with Gundo in that position but that's obvious by now. Let's hope Kova stays fit. He's no Rodri (who is?) but he's essential right now.

3 points but like Leicester last week, scoreline flattered us. If they were half decent in finishing it could have been so different.
Desperately need reinforcements esp midfield as if he persists with this line up, tactics and baffling subs we will lose more than we will win. Worrying he cannot see how Walker and Gundog are severely past their best and weaken us enourmously

Very good result and at times a better performance. 2nd half we looked to be getting back to something approaching our normal form and went 4 up. The subs of Walker and Gundogan seemed to upset our rhythm though and we went to pieces for 10-15 mins before getting back on top towards the end of the half.

I do miss the days of us dominating games though. It has all become a bit too much end to end.

Great result though and hopefully we can build on that.

As a fan, I really hope City players realise just how fortunate they’ve been today. West Ham should have scored five! We have been woeful.

Seems like the moaning twats aren't only restricted to the matchday thread!

Good win but not a great performance overall. Savinho and Haaland’s quality saw us through.

Hopefully Pep has noted that his initial substitutions made us so much worse.

Given the recent circumstances I will take a relatively comfortable 4-1 win.
When you see how bad we were with gundo and walker on the pitch it’s no surprise we lost so many games with them playing. Proper blind spot for pep

Savinho's brilliance gave us a 2-0 in a first half where it could've easily gone the other way, our start to the second half was probably the best all season and we effectively killed the game, of course after Gundo and Walker came on West Ham had their best spell of the game but Grealish coming on gave us the control back and we saw the game out.

Brentford away is next in the league and that will be far far tougher.
