West Ham (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Not looking at anything beyond this game so more than happy with 4-1. Game was over when Savinho and Haaland went off as was our attacking threat. We can debate the wisdom of the subs and their timing all night but right now points are what we need. Hopefully Phil gains confidence from the goal. Savinho our best player and Haaland much more involved and with 2 well taken goals.

As a fan, I really hope City players realise just how fortunate they’ve been today. West Ham should have scored five! We have been woeful.

Got the win and ultimately that is all that matters at this point.

We are not good though are we? 4-1 wins in the past, probably meant it could have been double figures, whereas today West Ham (who are shite) could easily have gotten something from that. Out of possession, we are atrocious.

Our midfield needs a complete overhaul. Kova is trying his best but KDB and Bernie can’t fucking move and if Kova was to get injured, a Gundo, KDB, Bernie midfield, will be the slowest, weakest midfield on planet earth.

We need to be seriously active in this transfer window. If we are, we should be able to finish top 4. If we aren’t, we are flipping a coin.
 
Its a win, the attack did its job well with Savio putting in a MotM performance.

Lewis had a goos game.

Bernie pressed well, but West Ham often exploted spaces behind first half and late second half until McAtee and Grealish controlled the game.

Wr definitelt rode our luck there, West Ham should have got a few more goals, but we gotta take the wins.

Please no more Walker.
 
Great game from Savinho and Haaland. Some moments from us were hard to watch. A better opponent would have punished us for giving the ball away repeatedly in dangerous areas.

KDB put in another 90 minutes. Odd, he must have not got the “his legs have gone” memo.

Good 3 points and on we go!

We became staggeringly wank when Gundogan and Walker came on. Both a universe off it.

Gvardiol has fallen off a cliff. Akanji is contemplating joining him.

Absolutely desperate for 2 top CMs, a top CB and a top RB.

West Ham will sack their manager tonight. He’s wank and has lost the players.

Did you think someone would flick a switch and we’d go all 22/23 in an instant?

See when you’re in a slump like we’ve had, it takes these kind of wins, Leicester and today, to build confidence and get back on track.

But you’d know this surely, with being a football fan?
 
Savinho and Haaland excellent. Guardiol Walker and particularly Akanji abject. Akanji must be still carrying an injury to play that badly. Phil a little better. Bernie worked hard. Good result, flashes of brilliance but overall nowhere near where we need to be.
 
Couldn't care less how shit we play.
From now to the end of the season is all about getting points on the board, I've said the same when we've been 15 points or more clear at the top, getting 3pts is the most important thing.

Anything else is a bonus.

Super city. At least this thread might be red cartel wanker fans free for a second week on the trot.
