I've played team sports all my sporting life and at a decent level, in any team I played in we would back each other to the hilt against anyone who had a go at any of us. It promotes team sprit which is massive in team sports. Maybe you've never done anything like that and if you have, you seem to have forgotten it.
When Cantona kicked the guy in the crowd, he had support from lots of his fellow professionals from opposition teams, even Fowler said 'I'd have loved to have done that'.
So if you think its alright to abuse someone because you've paid an entrance fee, crack on.

When Cantona kicked that bloke in the crowd he should have been banned for life
Footballers forget they are paid by the club.
If it wasn't for the fans there wouldn't be a club.
The players should be more grateful of the fans than the fans are of the players.

Big decision from the club on how we decide on a new contract.
Been the best player I have ever seen at the club but these last 15 months age/fitness has caught up with him sadly.

Be daft to give him a new contract going off his recent performances, better to say thanks for the memories, leave a legend and move to an easier league for a couple of years.
 
He gets offered a 12 month deal on less pay, but takes a pass and comes to America to print money and get some jollies for the wife and kids in the sunshine!

No he shouldn't have.
There is only so much abuse, racial remarks or taunts a player should take.
I saw a little bit of the " monkey chanting " at Vinicius jr last night and it is sickening in this modern age.

He was out for five months guys , there was always going to be set backs and getting fit again , for the twats in the match thread he stayed on because he needed the minutes

I think he is reluctant to run like before, probably worried his hammy will go again , still got the brain and will provide some magic like the assist today, he needs legs around him now same as yaya had dinho , but kev doesnt have rodders, lets see what happens as he gets fitter before we turf him on the rubbish

Cantona should have been done by the Police, just as anyone who’d gone on the pitch and king fu kicked him in boots would have been.

Then, after he got out of that trouble, he should have been banned for a stretch!

It would be moronic to give him a new contract, his time is up just as it was for Yaya, Silva, Aguero and Kompany.
