Really think the club is more worried about our wage bill to high and need to sell to bring anyone in! What gets me we have a small squad but our wage bill is massive! We need to bring players in on lower wages than normal
Oh shit that sounds like UnitedWe have a team that's not able to fulfill Pep's demands of a high intensity press, high quality possession with low turnovers that keeps counter attacks to an acceptable rate.
Instead we have low intensity press, low quality possession, with high turnovers that's way open to counters.
All true but nothing like the post you posted raising my replyWe have a team that's not able to fulfill Pep's demands of a high intensity press, high quality possession with low turnovers that keeps counter attacks to an acceptable rate.

I asked father Christmas for Natalie Sawyer but he didn't deliverI want 72-75 points!
Apparently I'm asking for the moon?!?!?
I totally agree with you and I’m amazed that more people have not picked up on this. This season we are playing such a high line it’s kamikaze tactics and no surprise that we are getting torn apart on the break. It's not about the holding midfielder, it's about the team not defending as one. Even with Rodri on the pitch we would be conceding so many chances. He's read the game better and make sure he was in a position to cover better than the options we've currently got. But if Haaland, Foden, De Bruyne, Bernardo and Savinho all press but that half a second too late then it's a simple pass and you've cut out 5 of the team and we're left with Kovacic and 4 defenders trying to deal with the situation. That's what the issue is at the moment. We've either got to stop pressing completely and just sit in or everyone has to be bang at it so we win the ball back high up the pitch.
Username needs a rethink if you don’t know where the great man came from. While agreeing to the difficulty, isn’t there some 22 year old playing in Portugal France or Germany who can do a Job for us.
I mean thats what scouts are for i guess.
Because 90% of the posters here can point to Zubimendi or Bruno G or Declan rice and say yes this will do a job.
When can our scouts go to Shaktar and bring the next Fernandinho or go to Wolfsburg and get the next Kompany.
I must be in the minority who actually likes this transfer and thinks he will do a good job for us .Rubbish
Ye good luck with that because we don't have enough games left to reach 90 let alone above it lolFuck that I want 90+ points and a collapse of epic proportions by the scouse vermin.
It’s all speculation. Could be a whole host of thingsReally think the club is more worried about our wage bill to high and need to sell to bring anyone in! What gets me we have a small squad but our wage bill is massive! We need to bring players in on lower wages than normal
Wage bill has been so high due to the bonus payments for winning so, self financing from the prize money. Having said that the base is still high, players will need encouragement to switch mid season as wellReally think the club is more worried about our wage bill to high and need to sell to bring anyone in! You say it as if Rodri didn’t do his ACL three months ago.We don't half have some panic merchants on here. Give the club (the player and the selling club too) time to get the right players in.
Anyone who thinks you can click your fingers in January and magic up a superstar or 3 is dreaming.
The best players are rarely available in this window. That reduces the pool significantly as we don't want lesser quality players, they have to be better than our academy players as a minimum.
It leaves us with limited options-
Players with Release Clauses (not at a top team that want to come to City)
Paying way over the odds for a player with all of the FFP ramifications
Taking a player who is out of favour at their present club (there is usually a good reason why)
CFG transfer / loan
Doing nothing is not an option so we will move but it will most likely be at the behest of the selling club who will want a replacement lined up and secured before they sanction any sales.
We have 4 weeks and a fair few days before the next EPL game so I'd expect to see any new players drip fed into the squad over the next few weeks.
No need to panic
youre going to be disappointed....the max we can get is 88pts if we win all our remaining gameFuck that I want 90+ points and a collapse of epic proportions by the scouse vermin.
I doubt that City think we won’t be buying anyone in January because of the 115 charges otherwise they’d simply brief that Pep is happy with the squad.
Judging by the timelines so far, we may not know our fate on the 115 by the time the summer transfer window is closed.

Of course he would...I must be in the minority who actually likes this transfer and thinks he will do a good job for us .
More chance of something in your faceI asked him for Natalie but have more chance of getting Sam Matterface
Why? He isn't being chosen by Juventus. So why not bring him in for 6 months with an option to buy? It could be that other players we are after won't be allowed to leave their clubs in January. Of course Zubimendi has a release clause, but maybe he wants a move in the summer. I don't believe him coming on loan is any proof the case will go against us.Douglas Luiz on loan reeks of 115.
