NFL 2024-25

hope the Chiefs get stopped in playoffs after that farce last night only positive I can take from last night is at least we don't have to play Buffalo away next week on Wildcard weekend
Dolphins without the usual QB are gash unfortunately, they may have got away with a win if it had mattered yesterday though.

What happened with KC was a disgrace and compromises everything everyone has played for over 16 weeks.

It's a difficult one though, injuries are such a common occurrence in NFL that you understand a team resting players when they have done enough in the first 17 weeks that means the outcome of the game has no bearing on their final position.

But then on the other side of the coin, you have teams who will play 17 competitive games, and others may only play 16 and like Denver, they end up getting an advantage.

This happens in many other sports, so not just an NFL problem.

feel they need to get a new QB in the draft Tua misses too many games through injury and Huntley isn't up to the level, feel big changes over the off season , and although he is an exceptional player I wouldn't be too upset to see Hill move on

Yeah it definitely happens in other sports too including football (I'm looking at you) but, it's cheating the public as well as the competition.

Brilliant performance from the Lions and having that week off next week is huge for them. Gibbs was outstanding but defensively so impressive. Having Anzalone back made such a difference and now two weeks to hopefully get a few more back from injury.

That was a disgrace last night with the chiefs. The redskins did not need to win but still played to win with their defense playing the whole game. Integrity was at stake and the Kansas rags have none

could understand if KC played next week but they don't as they have the bye , I really hope it comes back to bite them

Only just started watching it. Did KC rest all their best players as they have already qualified? They were getting run ragged when i watched a bit

Do you not think they earned the right to rest players? To be fair, Mahommes has been playing with a high ankle sprain for two weeks. He needed a break. American footballers get beaten up over the season. An additional week break can be a big boost for fitness and recovery. We usually do similar with the final CL group games.

I have the hump because i am a Bengals fan

I cannot recall Bengals fans complaining after the final game last year when the Browns rested around 15 players in the final game (the Browns also had a third of their salary cap on Injured Reserve). The win against the Browns practice squad (plus players 'off the street') gave the Bengals a winning record.

On the topic of the Bengals, I think it was very harsh of them to sack Lou Anarumo. He's probably one of the top 6 or 7 defensive coordinators in the NFL. He'll get snapped up very quickly. I can see them regressing as I am struggling to see a better replacement and the cheap arse Brown family probably won't pay Tee Higgins.

As fans, we only moan when it goes against us
