On the MCFC website we have 14 (!) midfielders and one striker. Even the web-designer would have known we are gubbed if Haaland gets injured and have to revert to false 9s with an OAP and out of form midfield.

Haaland has me convinced he's a world class flat tracker until he evolves his game. Blinky is a more well rounded striker- not necessarily better but he does more things better.

He's closer to a Havertz/Jesus than he is a Haaland.

He’s a level above those 2 and he is a cracking player.

However, not having him is not our issue and until playing 2 strikers comes back in vogue, we’re never going to get someone as good as him whilst we have Haaland.

I don’t think it’s a particularly ridiculous thing to say. Actual top strikers are at an all time low. In our league you’ve got Isak and Haaland. Struggling to think of another top class striker in Europe apart from Kane.
