Mainoo is a funny one as he looked very good last year and slow and average this year. I wouldn't be against it as Pep could work wonders with him.

I've always been impressed with that Mazzaroui(?) when I've seen him, I think he's a decent player.

He played A LOT of loose balls against Liverpool and put Utd on the back foot numerous times.

Pep and co. don't go for players just on skill and ability.

They also go for temperament, their attitude, their demeanor when not being picked.

If he asks for a pay rise, then the media would go full "Sterling / Aderabayio" on him and say he only cares about money and if he turns down the pay rise in favour of more play time, then he's an arrogant, temperamental and entitled kid.

Don't know if we are really interested in him but it does seem like certain footballers are judged differently.

I'd take him on 20k a week. Hes not even close to a 200k player. Had a few good games early on and did OK with England. But he's not a stand out player or match winner.

Rags are just cashing in on a youth player which is all the rage with some clubs. On the basis he's already broken through the best place for his career is at the rags but the way ffp works it makes more sense for them to sell. Especially if they miss out on Europen football next year as there finances will be in the shit.
