no we we just need to get it right with hungry players who can step up here and have energy and skills to do it. Pep does seem hungry for rebuilding this side and go for it, this last 6 months opened his eyes too a bit. some of our players need a wake up call, some need pension, and the squad needs a big injection of new players too.

Are we still looking to sign a holding midfielder which is actually what we need . I do like the maumoush signing and I think he will be good as will the young Uzbek player but these two signings if they come of will not stop us getting swamped in midfield for the remainder of the season . I do hope we get Douglas luiz for mid .

I'd settle for Luiz on loan with an option to buy, & reassess CDM options in the summer, rather than another Nunes type panic buy.

With Bobb back in training & Moose a possibility, if we can get a few back from injury, it'll certainly ease the pressure we're under without breaking the bank & give us time for a 2017 style transfer revolution in the summer where we can lower the average age of the squad.

I sense Pep is eager to build his next iteration for City, so hopefully this will be an end of the bi-seasonal "Will he, won't he" bollocks we have to keep putting up with...
