So with limited money (PSR) it makes even less sense while were desperate in 5 other positions to spend big ish money on someone that isnt even coming right away. Im fully aware CB needs work but it should be well down the list of current priorities.

If we make a 40m investment on a player, my assumption would be that he joins the first team squad right away. Thats not a young talent CFG-signing that will go out on loan fee, thats a first team squad fee. Especially considering the current state of our squad (both injuries and form).
