@richards30 says HiGive it time. There’ll be someone on later to bemoan that we’re 9 days in to the window and that we haven’t signed anybody.
Khaldoon out.

Spurs not a great example to useIn mid-Nov Spurs lost their no1 Keeper. It quickly became apparent in Dec that the reserve wouldnt cut it. They knew the major problem, and went out and located a new Keeper, signed him, got him in and he played last night - well I might add - in a big game for them that they needed and won having taken swift decisive action.
We had 3 months notice our central midfield area was fuct. Nobody can run or stay fit and theres absolutely no holdng midfielder at all, a position which is essential to our system. Consequently we dropped off a cliff and went on to win only 3 of 15 matches.
Nearly 10 days into the window and theres still zero sign of any arrivals in said area of the field where we are woefully deficient. Games are about to come thick/fast as well in January, At a guess Id wager there are a lot more midfield players in the English/German/Spanish/Italian/Portuguese/French (amongst other) leagues than there are keepers.
I remain utterly stunned that a shortlist of at least 10 midfield targets/options wasnt drawn up by early Dec and we didnt have at least some options to come in immediately in January - overpay if you have to on fee/wages, with our resources and profile we can - but zero action now and come the end of the season and no CL football next year the reality will bite. Until additions are made in midfield we will continue to see constant free runs at our goal - often right down the middle - and we'll continue to fade badly in games and get old manned or outrun in the central area.
KFAs trying to predict the future without any intel beyond what everyone on here has already read.Who’s that and whats he know?
At least 10 you say? I say name them-In mid-Nov Spurs lost their no1 Keeper. It quickly became apparent in Dec that the reserve wouldnt cut it. He also doesn't have the connection Pep or Txiki has. If he thinks lets say Stones needs to go he probably will.Viana is ruthless. At Sporting they needed a rebuild to many old players on high wages for a club like Sporting the summer he came in there was a massive clear out. Old players left , young talent came in
Or that not signing anyone yet is a clear indicator that the 115 case has gone against us.Give it time. There’ll be someone on later to bemoan that we’re 9 days in to the window and that we haven’t signed anybody.

Almost everyone seems a stretch! But fair play. He's never come on my radar as I don't think I've ever seen Frankfurt play.Almost everyone had heard of Marmoush, he’s literally one of the best players in the Bundesliga. But pretty much nobody had heard of the two young CBs

Off the top of my head Varela, Ederson, Barella, Luiz, Ricci, Gibbs-White, Baleba, Rovella - theres 8 immediately and with our scouting network which has far more knowledge than you, I or anyone else on an internet fan forum, Id wager they can add another 10-15 names there who would be far better options than what we currently have in the engine room.At least 10 you say? I say name them-
Agreed. Let's throw away everything we are as a club and aspire to be more like Spurs. In mid-Nov Spurs lost their no1 Keeper. It quickly became apparent in Dec that the reserve wouldnt cut it. Right and they are all available and wanting to come? Maybe we will target some of them maybe we won't. Reckon I 'll trust the clubs targets over a bloke on the internet anyway.Off the top of my head Varela, Ederson, Barella, Luiz, Ricci, Gibbs-White, Baleba, Rovella - theres 8 immediately and with our scouting network which has far more knowledge than you, I or anyone else on an internet fan forum, Id wager they can add another 10-15 names there who would be far better options than what we currently have in the engine room.
We seem very good at locating/identifying young centre halves - nobody had heard of the 2 linked with us until this week for example - it isnt a reach to think the same could be done for midfielders who would improve us.
I can’t see that happening in January. I think losing that amount experience now would make us weaker, especially with most of the players we’re linked with being young or having no experience in the leagueGrealish (loan), Walker, Mcatee maybe Ederson if we get a GK in will all make way. I think we bring in a Cm and a GK.
He’s uncut that’s why but we could dangle a carat.Surprised there’s no links to Diomande.
