I watched it in the pub with a few friends. There was a spurs supporter in the room, up here on a business trip. He was a good sport, and a nice fella. When the third goal went in, the look on his face was a picture. When Macken scored the winner, we jumped out of our seats, and after we'd calmed down, he'd vanished without any of us noticing he'd walked past us to leave the room.Spurs 3 City 4

Strange to think in those days we had no beef with the dippers. We liked them as they were a major threat to the rags ambitions. They liked us as they hated the rags, and we were no threat. How times change, mind you even in those days you had to watch your back at Anfield.Blackburn 1 - 4 Man City
I was on holiday in Majorca, wife and kids on the beach, I found a pub showing the game and I sat with 1 other City fan. When we went in at half time, Blackburn dominated, leading 1 - 0 and struck the woodwork numerous times, they should have been at least 3 up.
Other City fan being the negative nelly saying we were destined to lose but I said just watch the 2nd half we will win. Which we did and totally dominated the 2nd half. If you listened carefully, anywhere in the world, during that 2nd half, you would be able to hear my screams!! I'm sure they are still echoing around the grand canyon still.
City went up and the rest is history, my proudest day being a city fan.
Made it all the better with a few Rags and Dippers in attendance!!!!
