Why? Dias did similar. Frankfurt pushing for top 4 and they need him and prob saves city a few quid allowing this to happen imo. He is very unlikely to get injured
Just reading the Pep book, and it mentions a study comparing injuries in training and playing. I was pretty much 50/50.

Exactly. And let’s be honest even if he did get injured (which is very unlikely anyways) he is signing for next 4/5 years not for 2 months.

It makes sense to have a good relationship with the selling club

Agree. Would have been different if Frankfurt was desperate to sell and not wanting to risk anything, but now it seems more like they are reluctantly accepting that the player wants to leave. Different story than with Khusanov since Lens seems more desperate to sell.
