Mayhem with MIBs at the game

I saw a gang of about 100-150 being escorted along Oldham Road heading east about 4-30.
" Its the yenytid way"

"Its in their DNA"

Sheep are widely regarded to be very stupid animals but rags are in a different class of stupidity & so easy to identify.

Scruffy, unwashed with pinched, pale, spotty faces and a vacant look.

Usually in the company of at least 4 or five similar mindless ignoramus's, tripe hounds and gutter snipes.

They can usually be found in run down precincts or depressing pubs where the local hooker, paedo and smack head ignore them.

They like a rumble against woman, kids and the elderly when their numbers are 10 v 1 but are rarely seen on Bengal St against even numbers when scafolding pole are the kit of choice.

The description ' Chicken Shitters ' is entirely accurate inspite of it being offensive to both chickens & shit !!

For some reason a lot of our support conflate Salford City with FC United.

Salford City’s support, while there may well be a number of United fans (but there are some who certainly are not!) in it and probably were loads there yesterday, are not the same kind of fans as FC United.

From what I saw yesterday, and I was out before and after the game, their support was mainly just typical lower league family club away support. Yet posts on here when the draw was made were saying stuff like ‘don’t think I’ll bring my kid to this one’.

Didn’t see a single bit of mither all day. The stadium was full of kids who were all perfectly safe.
So what your saying is that David Conn didn't attend yesterday.

I pissed myself laughing, a woman probably about mid 30's with two daughters was swearing like a fish wife, she said paraphrase "fucking city scum, calling us Salford cunts" self serving description, well done lass, you lived up to your billing.

Even Harrogate rustled up a 100ish mob of stone island clad youth at Leeds , normally their actual home support tends to hang around tea shops while mama parks the 4by4 and papa walks the lab.
Thats the beauty of the fa cup indeed as a kid i was one of 8k Bury at Anfield then one of 2k at the next home game. Rags will have a good old school following at Arsenal today.

Totally agree. Also as I said in an earlier post a lot of City fans think the rags are a Salford club. OT is in Trafford. I've worked for both Trafford and Salford councils over the years and while people in both those areas are predominantly united fans there are quite a lot of Blues there too. Although the ones I met tend to have a bit of a siege mentality being surrounded by that mob!

I used to work at Salford Quays in the "Blue Tower", we were on an upper floor and the pig sty was in full view from the Office window, I used to give it the two fingered salute every morning.

One of our bosses in the Civil Service 'worked' in West Point on Chester Rd and apart from being a blue was a right wanker however, when he was filmed for TV probably 2/3 times a year, he'd move offices so the swamp wasn't in shot behind him.

Mate of mine (newcastle fan) was in the salford end last night. Got tickets through salford youth team that his kid plays for, the whole kids team went apparently.

He text me this morning:

"Pathetic in the Salford end last night, just full of United fans singing United songs. Think they got what they deserved!"

I was in 127 don't think we heard a single song from them from there. Guessing it was a mix of kids and bitter reds

Saw some twat after the game near main entrance holding a 1980’s rag shirt, the one sponsored by sharp, no idea why and then walking down main rd two twats shouted fuck off city in the vicinity of a couple of old blokes. Very bizarre behaviour but presumably they will claim some sort of result.

In the early 80s Fleetwood then North West Counties league drew Blackpool at home in the FA Cup. The police insisted the game was moved to Bloomfield Rd, causing much resentment in Fleetwood. Fleetwood got regular crowds of 250 at the time but every boy in the town turned out for this one. Rags and dippers buried their animosity for the day and became fans of their home town. Blackpool had a notorious firm at this time and there was mayhem everywhere. The police arranged a special tram service to take the Fleetwood support to the match, but then bizzarley escorted the Fleetwood supporters to the railway station, Fleetwood has had no rail link since 1970. 4 0 to Blackpool but a great day out for all, myself sat with some Blackpool mates and kept my head down. Seems strange now after many league meetings with Blackpool, doubt City will play Salford in the league anytime soon.
