Omar Marmoush

Yet he’s changed his mind on Marmoush a few times already. I don’t think he’s guessing. He’s getting information but he’s just putting out with the club want him to rather than reading between the lines.

That isn’t really good transfer journalism (which isn’t an issue but the way he words it is like an exclusive) and instead is more a club’s unofficial mouthpiece.
You can get information from the club that owns the player, the player or their agent, or the club looking to buy the player. He’s obviously been briefed by the club that owns the player, and often, that’s the most reliable source of information. So, I don’t think he’s just guessing. EF are in a strong position and want to maximize their profit. Whether they stick to their demands or choose to negotiate, we’ll find out soon.

This week for the signing and the official bid, what a prediction. Feels great to know we have the official bid already prepared lol. This stuff is comical and you have people hanging on his every word. My 12 year old sister could write this stuff.
I wonder if an official bid is really being prepared? I suspect Txiiki et al are sit round saying . 'OMG this chap wants to come lets think how we can put in a bid, what say you Pep?'

When they say preparing bid they mean the clubs are talking and working out the structure of the payments, add ons etc. Once city know what will be accepted they will then put the bid in.

It amazes me how people still doubt romano or get confused by the process. It’s always the same with city transfers. Get player on side. Talk to club then put bid in once they know what framework cost etc will be

Weird post. Guess you know how our hugely successful club does its business

If that is the case, is it really 'a bid' then?

Do people not understand what he does? You follow the rumours, you learn over years who to believe and who not to believe. Then when a transfer is close and near 99% likely to happen, you make sure YOU are the first to say it’s done. You don’t have a scooby whether it really is done, but you know it’ll convince the gullible masses that you have sources, once the transfer does finally happen. For months, even years, people will recall how you were first on “so many” transfers to say they were done… even though you just played the percentages with every single one. You gain a huge following, then monetise it once you have attracted enough idiots. People actually fall for it, it’s crazy.
And it's not unknown for them to delete the crap that proves to be wrong, although screenshots will always come back to haunt them. Not that they'll care.

Which people? I am not being facetious btw.

Not saying it happens, but wouldn't surprise me if some agents would go down this route. Not necessarily when a signing is on the cusp of happening (like now with Marmoush) but when they want to drum up interest in the player etc

An agent would check twitter to see how many followers a Purple Panel or another such random user with primarily a one club interest claiming to have inside knowledge, and would then feed him some actual inside knowledge? Sounds a bit of a reach tbh. Maybe it happens, the Cucurella transfer with Romano maybe could have looked that way. But I somehow doubt it happening across the board.

Romano feeds of it to be fair. All his contacts are through agents. They feed him some done deals here and there to be their mouthpiece

I really hope you are a trolling rag and that opinion isn’t genuine.

Er, my post was in response to the one talking about Fabrizio Romano. It's stating the bleeding obvious that if we are seriously interested in a player that we have been looking at for a while we will have all our ducks lined up and all the legal preparatory work done.
