Maybe, although he has built a brand. Including by having actually had some contacts in the first place. But then I also remember when he kept saying Messi renewing at Barcelona to be all done and duated for months. So not everything he says is always gospel. And even when he does he knows how to stretch it out and repeat things when there is nothing to say.

Aside from the fella on BM who claimed Delph was having a medical in Manchester, having just turned City down a week previously, I'm yet to come across an ITK whose Crystal ball & tea leaves has predicted something that isn't already in the public domain.

Khusanov, Moose, Reis, Tchouameni etc... Not ONE social media or internet ITK mentioned any of them as possible Manchester City targets until rumours of our interest became common knowledge.

Then we get ITK's who delete their predictions that fall apart, & others who claim the transfers were 100% on but negotiations can stall & end for all sorts of reasons, which is just pure arse covering.

Even more curious are fans who hang on their every word & then want them de-bollocked when their predictions don't materialise! :-)

ITK's being used to spread misinformation goes both ways, so I doubt the intended targets will fall for it.

EG:

Club A publicly states other clubs are interested in the player. No shit!

Club B publicly states they're looking at other targets. No shit again.

Both cancel each other out, but the reality is does anyone seriously believe Txiki & Pep resort to Xitter & online forums to get the inside track on multi-million pound football transfers? I'd be serious fuckin worried if they did!
 
Given Pep's comments about the back and midfield being the priority and him seemingly playing tomorrow, this deal looks nowhere near as close as is being made out on social media. Not saying it won't happen, but think there is still a good bit of negotiating to be done yet.
