Surprised it’s taking Bobb longer to come back, thought his injury wasn’t that bad ..
While I'm also a bit surprised, as Ramos for PSG, who suffered the same injury in the same week, has been back playing for a few weeks now, I'm glad they're not rushing him if he doesn't feel ready. He's too critical to our future.

Nunes is quicker which will be needed against a very fast countering Brentford side. He is also obviously taller which will help with set pieces too (another brentford strength)

He's also a more natural midfielder so when we lose possession and he is inverted then he can more easily break up plays. But he's definitely going to need to have his positioning down against the Brentford break.

Lol, he gave an interview to the sun just the other week , publicly saying sorry to annie and asking for forgiveness, put out a twitter video saying sorry for breaking lockdown, you are choosing not to see it

He is deserting the team in january because the going is to tough for him, we and the players and pep deserve better
Don’t complain too much. He might change his mind and stay.

Missus always calls me daft for shouting at the tv during a match and says "they can't hear you, you know " Anyway I've gone a bit dafter today with the picture of Tony Book in 1969 with all three trophies and a very old and faded blue & white scarf next to the computer. In case they can see it.
Come on, City!

Thats what my grandad thought, said life was more fun in North Africa. A German bullet shattered his leg but was back at the front 3 months later so Ive no idea what Bobb is fucking about for ;-)
My Grandad on my dad's side of the family (long dead) has an Italy Star alongside his Africa star. He was in the 2nd Battalion of the Cheshire Regiment. I never met him, but I remember my dad telling me about all the bits of shrapnel he still had in his body.

Tonight City players we need you to step up to the plate for Skip. Win this for him please.

The Boys in Blue never give in. They fight to the end. Come on City come on City, show ‘em lads show ‘em all. Especially the Nylon boys! (One for the FOCs there!) Southern Softies.
Especially the know nowt alleged media types who wouldn’t know a football from a shuttlecock!
Especially the Specsavers needing, whistle blowing oiks who would do better to read the rules but I guess if you can’t read that’s a bit impossible! ;-)
Don’t you know yet who we are, you silly little fribble, fuss budgets. We are MANCHESTER CITY, THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

Go lads go hell for leather. :-) :-)
Do it for Tony Book, do it for Skip.

You know you are mad, don't you?

Good for Brentford fans with two City ambassadors on the punditry team on TNT.

Who’s on commentary tonight, Buzzer?

Well done. Good for you. :-)

Nunes is interesting isn't it. Looks like Pep is going to use his speed to try and stop those breakaways.

The talk of multiple new signings coming in undoubtedly creates a feel good factor, which is great. But I think the reality of where we are as a team will be on full display again tonight. Transfer talk is exciting, but it won’t have given our midfield any more legs.

Brave men and thats what we need for 3 points tonight, Skip will help us through :-)

If Pool lose and we win today, does anyone think the title race would be on?
Your kidding?
If we have a perfect rest of season we would get 88 points. Liverpool could attain that with an average of 2.2 points per game, they could afford to lose 5 games and still make 88 points.
There is also the not insurmountable issue of climbing above the other 4 teams that lie between us and 1st.
I would give is a 1 in 25 chance even after the results you have predicted.
