If we don’t get some legs into midfield this month then it’s gonna be like this all season. Kovacic could hardly walk as he came off, gundo is playing with a zimmer frame and Bernie is just too lightweight in there. We’re getting killed in the middle every game.

Its great signing these young defenders and an attacker but we NEED midfield. And honestly, more than one.

Kova had a good game would have kept him on but a draw a fair result .It was quite disturbing that they kept getting 2 on 1 down our left and it felt they would score every time down there.Akanjis form has dropped quite a bit

I don’t mind using Akanji or Gavardoil in the middle as long as they put some tackles in and breakdown our opponents attacks. The way we fail to win a single duel is criminal.

I said the exact same a few weeks ago, Have the players forgotten how to tackle and be physical?

We lose every single duel and every tackle is half arsed.

Is the correct answer. Rodris injury combined with others playing below their historic norms made the midfield the weak link.

The CH's are looking porr because they have no effective CDM in front of them, they are always in the 'wrong' position.

Kova was doing a pretty decent job of it, Gundo didn't. Thats why we didn't win that game.

I'm not pointing the finger at individuals, there was no shortage of effort.

The defence were exposed throughout, neither of their goals came from a gap in midfield that wasn’t there already.

I agree about effort though.

Look at Brentford energy and pace running at us we go two up and pep brings gundogan on,we needed energy and pace to match Brentford,if that game had of went on another 5-10 minutes we’d have lost maybe even 4-2 ..
