Said it in the match thread but as soon as that McAtee shot went wide, I feared the worst. We kept the ball in their end for a few minutes then we’re so poor at reorganisation that when they had a goal kick, it was obvious what was about to happen.

Akanji. Can’t be second to a header in the 92nd minute when defending a lead. Especially when your man is stood a yard away for a few seconds.

Akanji is what we signed, a £15mill player who has been carried but should now be replaced

Thought it was a brilliant game to watch … if a neutral.

We had the better of the game and the better chances, and away to a decent Brentford as we’re trying to string games together with a depleted defensive system, it was just a shame that we couldn’t go on to take the 3 points.

I think some people think it's just a switch we can flick back on, we still need a few signings and the confidence to close games out, but make no mistake Brentford are a good side, we have to build and build our way back but after tonight I think we will get a top four finish.
