No concrete links anywhere. I’m at the point now where I’m just expecting the 2 cbs and this fella.

If we were pursuing a cm it would have leaked by now. Either by the selling club, an agent or city. It isn’t happening imo
 
First off ....

The media is likely doesn't even know where the current talks are at. They probably are days behind.

Second of all......

If we simply cave to Frankfurt every club in the future will think they can take us to the cleaners.
There is an art to negotiation and at no time is simply rolling over part of it.


People on here would be best served to stop writing posts saying silly things like

Just pay up
Give them what they want

Roling over is how you get a bunch of crappy contracts on your books like United. We have to careful on valuation every time.

You may be right, but why would the club do that? It would literally be self sabotage at that point.

I will ask for calm. It seems like it will happen but there's work to be done so we're looking at next week

How City avoided overpaying for Fred, Koulibaly, Cucurella, DeJong, Paqueta and others. It's also how United ended up paying what they did for Antony, Maguire and others.

Frankfurt would love some of the flappers on Bluemoon to be negotiating on City's behalf. We would be taken to the cleaners by every selling club if we just paid what they were asking.

Ahh come on mate…the last 2 years has seen some serious incompetence and questionable decisions in squad management, hence why we’re scrambling to make these signings in Jan.
 
Seems everyone's an expert on here with negotiating multi-million pound deals.

Just pay the other club exactly what they want!!
