It seems the player and his fans are eagerly anticipating reaching an agreement today.
The last thing that the club is is incompent. Obviously some Blues think we are. There is a world of difference in saying we had a poor transfer window, and the club are incompetent and have been the last few years.
Don't forget that we won seven trophies in that period. The original comment was ''the last 2 years has seen some serious incompetence and questionable decisions in squad management''
The last 2 summer transfer windows have been very questionable to say the least. Very reminiscent to the summer of 2012 where the club seemed to become very complacent.
Just seen Declan Rice saying he thinks Arsenal are going to need to move in the market for a left sided wing type player as they had to play Tierney there for a bit last night........... We really should get Marmoush sorted asap.
Nobody is forgetting that. But it's hardly a wild take that the last 2 summer windows have been poor and the club is now feeling the repercussions. You can't be complacent and stay still once you reach the top.Don't forget that we won seven trophies in that period.
Funny things is he would be getting a true run of games .Kalvin Phillips.
It is quite wild, yes.Nobody is forgetting that. But it's hardly a wild take that the last 2 summer windows have been poor and the club is now feeling the repercussions. You can't be complacent and stay still once you reach the top.
Interesting. Did you post on here about how great the window was to sign just Savinho and Gundogan this summer? It is quite wild, yes.
The policy of selling our best academy players for huge profit should stop. Pep needs to give these players a pathway into the side. He does not do that very well. Perhaps because he manages on a short term contract and therefore makes short terms decisions.Nobody is forgetting that. But it's hardly a wild take that the last 2 summer windows have been poor and the club is now feeling the repercussions. You can't be complacent and stay still once you reach the top.
No.Interesting. Did you post on here about how great the window was to sign just Savinho and Gundogan this summer?
arsenal isn’t the only club interested, others have started asking too. city’s slow approach and relying on the player’s approval while ignoring the club is a joke at this point."
We are a much bigger attraction than arsenal.Just seen Declan Rice saying he thinks Arsenal are going to need to move in the market for a left sided wing type player as they had to play Tierney there for a bit last night........... We really should get Marmoush sorted asap.

I don't care if we get Marmoush or not, as long as we can get someone good / better who can do what he does for a price which is in the same ballpark of what it will cost us to get him from Frankfurt. We are a much bigger attraction than arsenal.
Any top CDM thinking this way, doesn't have the mentality to play for an elite club like City.I think the target City have in mind isn't available in this window and like I've said before any top Dm is going to think twice before coming to City because they are always going to be playing second fiddle to Rodders. It's not going to be easy for City.
There will always be a drop off at some point I agree but there seems like there was no real plan to refresh the squad which has made the situation worse. Instead we ended up pushing issues which were always going to need addressing (replacing Walker, replacing De Bruyne, re enforcing the centre backs because half of them are usually injured, a striker, a DM, legs in midfield as most of them are over 30) to 2025.Don't disagree. But there will also inevitably be drop-offs and breaks and cycles. All leagues have this, even with the likes of Bayern and Celtic. As long as there is recovery within a season or two, then what more can we ask for. We can't buy the hest of the best every year, while also keeping the best players on exiting contracts.
Not it isn’t wild, what are you smoking. They haven’t improved a single position in the starting 11 since the treble. No decent back ups in many positions, signed below par players for big money and let players go that should never of been let go. The trophies won since then were because of Peps greatness…It is quite wild, yes.
Right, and what do you think the reasoning behind those decisions were? Not it isn’t wild, what are you smoking. They haven’t improved a single position in the starting 11 since the treble. A drop off and not winning the league is obviously acceptable, but when it comes from standing completely still in the market and neglecting certain positions then it’s going to get called out.Don't disagree. But there will also inevitably be drop-offs and breaks and cycles. All leagues have this, even with the likes of Bayern and Celtic. No it's not, although if you're looking for something to laugh at, just review your own posts.arsenal isn’t the only club interested, others have started asking too. city’s slow approach and relying on the player’s approval while ignoring the club is a joke at this point."
