Pep hinted the other week that his plan is to put either Stones of Akanji in midfield if other defenders were fit enough.

If we get the the new defenders I expect Akanji to play DM.

Stones is done for as he's a permanent sicknote.

Well it’s better than nothing i suppose.

We ain’t getting a midfielder imo. The reasons don’t seem clear but as always, the fans will be the last to know the inner dealings.

Pep did say his preferred option without Rodri was to play 2 cb or 1 cb and kova and that’s what he will do.

It’s mental but it’s pep decision.

Kushanov allows Akanji/stones midfield
Reis will play fullback/midfield with rico
Marmoush replaces Alvarez.

That’s us done, hope it’s enough.

Just on a personal note; can we please sigh players who have normal fucking names as my auto correct is a pain in the ass!

He can do 60 passes to the side and then turns and passes back to keeper, should fit in perfect

Nope.

We will be ok.

The 3 new lads may just be what we need. I don’t think we know enough about them so it will be wait and see. If it turns out anything like savio then we will be city 3.0.

Playing a ball playing cb instead of Rodri might just work.

I am trying to stay positive as I don’t believe a midfielder is either available or we can’t afford to buy now.

Another midfield mistake will set us back 1/2 seasons so I understand the reluctance.

Nope! I've been scouting the beat players with crazy names in hope we sign them all. I hope they are so many that autocorrect asks "translate?". :p
 
Apparently we`re in the race for Sverre Nypan. Norwegian 18yo AM, rated at £11m, made his senior debut for Norway`s biggest club at only 15yo
