‘Do do dooo, Football in a library’ is the worst football chant ever! Thank fuck we never chant that shit away from home at anyone.

Even in games with a good atmosphere, visiting fans (Villa fans did exactly this at Goodsion last night) wait for a moment where a song comes to its end and it’s quiet, and throw it out.

Not only that, but when you consider that United have a huge Irish following, having those lyrics in a song is very derisory towards Irish people.

Stranger still, is hearing Irish Rags sing it.

‘Paddy Whacking’ was a saying from the 1700s, for beating up Irish people.
