PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Honestly, how many signals do you need that the club remain supremely confident. There are never any guarantees but the club are not preparing to lose the case. How much clearer could it be?
Absolutely. Erling, and the other signings that are coming in, all have top agents and sports management companies. According to some, all of these hard nosed professionals are assisting City in a bluffing exercise, at the potential expense of their clients. Not very likely.

I don't like jumping to conclusions but our activity over the last few weeks suggests the club are very, very confident regards the outcome of the charges.

Everything crossed, but my optimism has risen hundredfold.

Nope, your first post on the subject said “if we are found guilty of fraud”, why would you even say that? IF you think there is even a doubt about that have a look at the ground redevelopments, the transfers incoming and the FACT that the worlds most coveted striker has just signed up for TEN MORE YEARS. Wonder what you were doing before late December, being a family man from Ashton, but only been on the forum a few days and talking about City and fraud in the same sentence? Hmmm
My soft signal of choice is not ground redevelopments, incoming transfers, or contract renewals; it’s the fact that no one on the board has resigned. If we were about to be convicted of fraud, Simon Pearce would be locked up in Al Wathba Prison by now.

well apparently according to the pl we managed to convince 2 of the top audit companies in the world, not to mention countless ceos and successful businessmen to commit fraud over multiple years to help city out for pocket change , so convincing these top sports agents and players should be a cakewalk lol

Probably because their bellend former manager was dog whistling this week about 'getting the beers in' if they get given other trophies. It's about his level.
Pep showed that **** to much respect. No criticism towards Pep, as he can do whatever he likes for me, but Klopp played a big part in slander campaign against City. Pretty much down playing every achievement Pep has accomplished at City.

It’s what happens to anyone who is in or around that club for a significant amount of time. It’s a brainwashing cult.

Either he really loves it there or he can't leave because City have him by the balls financially.

Like Pep I think it's the latter.
If Real Madrid could afford his wages, he would have been off there in a heartbeat. But only Saudi Arabia could afford him, and he aint going there at the tender age of 24. City have paid him the sort of salary that 3 decent players could earn at a top club, and nobody else is ever doing that, with the current sanctions.

They really aren't taking this well over at swamp central :)
