I think you’re right and Haaland and his advisors were happy to sign a contract with an appeal to CAS as the equivalent of a release clause. Nice and simple, everyone’s happy, good business all round. Shake hands boys. Done.

I just read the article using a paywall remover and it isn’t as bad as I expected, he’s still a **** though.
