Eintracht confirmed in the evening that the club was in talks with another club and that Marmoush would therefore not be in the squad against BVB. "There is a very high probability that he will leave us," said Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche on the sidelines of the match against Dortmund on the streaming service "DAZN" and added: "Ultimately, it is Manchester City, with whom we have been in close contact for a day or two. It could well be that he leaves us for Manchester City. (...) We are talking about Manchester City. That's not a normal club. It's a huge step for him, a huge opportunity. We've always said that if a player develops faster than us as a club, we'll give him the opportunity to take the next step"
Fair play to them.

They have the fanbase and potential as a club to be one of the biggest clubs in Europe, but they aren’t quite getting there yet (harder in the Bundesliga, granted, although Dortmund got to the CL final last season).

They’ve done some great business with their strikers:

I don’t think that means what people think it means.

They’re telling their followers that they’re talking to another club about a transfer for Marmoush, as in, they are Eintracht Frankfurt and the club they are speaking to (Manchester City) is the other club.

They aren’t telling City fans they’re talking to another club who aren’t City.
Lol.

Did anyone truly believe that Frankfurt made an announcement to City fans that they were talking to another club about selling Marmoush?
