Khusanov-Reis-Ruben-Gvardiol

No goalkeeper needed.
Ruben’s days are numbered for no reason other than injuries; I think Gvardiol moves inside and links like Cambiaso suggest the same…

Putting a fit Rodri in front of that and it’s a defensive set up to be optimistic with, however, Reis will take time, clearly needs to baulk up….

You are joking aren’t you?!?
On that basis Johnny Stones would have been gone years ago.
Dias is our next captain.

Dias will be 28 in May, and having younger and fitter players alongside him should mean he has to play fewer games. He was injury free last season and played 3,818 minutes, but that number of games on top of international duties evidently takes its toll. The defence desperately needed refreshing and Dias should now be a main beneficiary just as he enters his prime.

what font size should i use ?my cock is running out of space for 5 more sets of alphabets

Any chance of him being in the squad for Ipswich if he’s announced tomorrow.
May be wrong but I believe 12pm Friday is the cut off for the weekends fixtures. So we won't be seeing any new signings now until Chelsea at the earliest. Been too slow bringing them in and missed the chance to ease them in with the Salford, Brentford and ipswich fixtures over the last week.

unless we hold off until Leyton orient, they'll be thrown in the deep end against Chelsea or arsenal away, then it's straight into newcastle, Dippers, spurs and forest after Orient. A proper sink or swim introduction for them all.

Marmoush will probably be involved pretty soon, but I think the two defenders will be eased in gradually over the rest of the season.

Fuck me on that basis Stones wouldn't have gotten in 3 practice sessions before being deemed ready for pasture.

Ruben is the core of the steel this team has and any future steel will need to be welded to him.

That will probably be close to the plan but availability might change that.

Marmoush will surely be on the bench and likely make his debut from there against Chelsea, no reason not to. I expect the defenders will only get some late minutes if the game is done one way or another with a full 90 at orient.

There's also the champions league to consider though, no new signings can play in those next 2 games which are must win and with ake and akanji both seemingly far from fit themselves, we might have to protect them before they break again. Balancing act for Pep to perfect, sadly he's not been very good at that this season.

Just throwing it out there but making Haaland our new captain may turn him into a bigger machine than he already is, and breathe
