Much more like it. Hopefully this will turn our season round. Top 4 position achieved already. Ipswich were crap no doubt - you are the weakest link - goodbye and even Kalvin Phillips couldn't have saved them. Dias organised defence well. Many competitors for MOM. Sets us up nicely for Wednesday's match with PSG.
 
Thoroughly enjoyable performance and a real bonus to get +6 on the goal difference. As Pep said, it was important for the players to see who they are. Hopefully gives confidence going into a big game with PSG.

Well didn't see that after the first 10 mins. Very good from Ederson and no one played badly. Phil is much sharper now. Next 2 games are v.important
 
It was a good win and a most-needed boost in the fight for a top 4 place,
But it was a sloppy start and we looked liked a team made up of square pegs in round holes, Nunes Gundogan Kovacic Gvardiol all struggling because they are being asked to cover, But around the 15-minute mark Kovacic started to make some runs down the middle and it opened them up and from then on City was in control,

I thought KDB was sloppy at times but the quality is still there, but he needs more time on the ball to pick the pass but maybe that is down to the lack of movement upfront early doors, For the first time in a long time, I was not clock-watching and hoping this would end right now.

Big win and sometimes all it takes is a game like this and the others start looking over their shoulders
 
Really good performance from everyone..Kev looks like he's getting back to the player we know he is.
Nice to see Phil getting his goalscoring touch back too..Doku was very good and so too were Kova and Gundo.
We look so much better at the back with Ruben there.
Great support from the fans as always..

Forget P.S.G. City will not trouble the Champions League this year. Concentrate on the premier league!
 
More like what we know from City,just still giving up more opportunities to the opposition than I’d like,oh and a shame foden went off or we would have had 5 youth products on the pitch,anyhow I’m buzzing with this result now onto a big game midweek we need those points..
 
Great performance, Doku, Kev and Phil were excellent. Gundo played well. Dias organised everything at the back and was excellent. Eddy is just key to the way we play, the build up is much more fluent, and he plays through the lines. Kova played well and thought Nunes did okay. I think one or two were playing for their places today with competition coming. The press came back as well in the second half. The youngsters were hungry as well when they came on. Good goal from Macca.
