Considered a target and denied interest????? Usual shit from them.
 
It’s a squad game and he’d get plenty of minutes, but who does he replace in our first 11?

I’ve seen him play as a striker and on the left mainly. Is he more of a bench option?

I think he'll offer Pep the flexibility to rotate the attacking unit in a way thats been missing this season. In addition to spelling established starters (Haaland, de Bruyne, Phil) he may well make one of the wings his own. We've seen enough of Pep to know that he'll more readily ride the hot hand at a wing position than other places around the field. I'm thinking Doku's impact last season and how Mahrez ended up benched for the latter half of the treble season in favor of Bernardo.

If everyone's healthy (which at this point is pure fantasy), his best bet for locking down a starting position would be the wings but I can see him forcing his way into the ten position (ala Julian last year) if de Bruyne and Foden continue with their spotty injury record.

If you'd asked a week ago, I'd have said that de bruyne hadn't played well since his sub appearance away at Newcastle.

Reality is that he's not the player he was and shouldn't be offered a new deal.

That’s a little harsh. KDB finished with 10 PL assists last season, 3rd of all players, having missed 5 months.

Fair enough. For me even a half fit de bruyne can win us a game from nothing. I have no idea if Marmoush can do that in the premier league yet
