We've turned a corner ;-)

Our worst two month spell probably since the takeover, our worst season in possibly a decade, and the 3rd worst collapse of a reigning champion.

And yet, we are sitting in 4th, 6 points behind Arsenal, 12 and 14 ahead of Utd and Spurs.

If we were in a title race, 6 points behind Arsenal at this stage (had liverpool not had the unexpected season they are having) we would all be feeling relatively confident, with so much left to play.

I sense the papering over the cracks, by beating Ipswich, Salford City and West Ham, plus a creditable draw v high flying Brentford, has dissipated the impetus in some posters.
Those results plus Ipswich plus Erling extending plus exciting signings coming have lifted the spirits of most of us.

But we still have miserable sods amongst us : /

Count me as a miserable sod too. Pep has baffled us with nonsensical tactics this season so God only knows who'll start the next games or what frustrations we'll face.

There have been plenty of signs of hope through all the dross and much more hope of late but its no sure thing that spirits remain high.

Pep is more City now than ever. Hes no longer a God-like guru and instead someone who just does his best for this marvelous club. And we are more like blues of old. Expect the worst but enjoy the moments.

Beat Chelsea next match we will be at worst 5th and probably 4th on GD. I think from then on we can start pulling back some points and galvanise a CL position
A good result in champions league midweek is also on the cards.

Pep out!!

Not sure but would surely be flying from Frankfurt (one of the largest flight hubs in Europe) rather than Cologne, no ?

(Unless, of course, the fact that it's one of the largest flight hubs means it's more convenient to fly from Cologne).
He might live closer to Cologne too. It is possible. Khusanov flew from Paris, not Lille.

Only a 2 hour drive from Frankfurt city centre, no idea where he lives, could be less. I assume the private jets are rental, could be a matter of availability/convenience of Frankfurt vs Cologne

Yeah, but Lens (supposing you meant Lens) doesn't have an airport as such, and is only about 1 hours drive from Paris CDG.

I'm just speaking as someone who currently lives in Paris & who used to live in Cologne.

But still not out of the realms of possibility that he will fly from Cologne (it's just a much smaller airport which is a couple of hours drive from Frankfurt).

*I'll also expect that he can afford / expense the Uber van.

I didn’t use Lens as I saw there was no airport and then used Lille as the nearest “big” airport.

I guess City will want as little info out about the players travelling too, so might be using slightly odd routes to put everyone off the scent.

Reis went via Lisbon too.

I read on x that he did his medical tests in Germany so he could have done that in another town then Frankfurt.
