President Trump

I do worry about what Trump might do in his first 24 hours to make a “statement”. He’s said that he’s going to be dictator for a day, well we’re about to find out what that looks like in practice.

I just hope like so many of Trump’s promises, it proves to be a half-baked con job.
 
Listening to 5Live, and the reasons that people voted for Trump are mesmerising, meandering from idiocy to selfishness and xenophobia. I can only judge it by what I would seek in a leader, and what he offers (in my view) is as far removed as seems possible. I think that the man is an idiot. The fact that he is also a business failure, a felon, and an alleged paedophile and rapist just adds to his wondrous mix. How depressing.

I saw the Village People at Gmex about 30 years ago. They were the support act for Gary Glitter!

When he starts issuing executive orders like confetti we will have a clearer view of what the Americans have unleashed on the World.

Saw a BBC news item about the people in jail over the Capitol building riot. One woman was asked if it was right that her incarcerated husband should have been waving a gun about in the seat of government, she responded by saying we British were a load of wimps where firearms were concerned.

That is why we should do our utmost to keep our laws as stringent as possible over the ownership of weapons.
 
Farage, Patel, Truss, Hoey and other right wingers pictured in the States "attending" Trumps inauguration will be watching it on a TV somewhere as they won't get a seat inside - the patheticness of it is funny

Perhaps I was being facetious and should give him the day for Ukraine, as he said he would stop the war in 24 hours, and maybe give him a month or two for the eggs
He repeated time and time again that his policy on solving the rising costs of fuel and food is "we're going to do something about that"
