Many options but went with Kova, dominated the game and scored too. Gundogs best game since his return, actually looked on the pace

Kovacic ran the game.

He wasn't motm but I thought Nunes might be our latest midfielder to become a FB.

We are so much better at playing our game when Ederson is in nets

Kova for me. Marshalled the midfield, probably one of his best games in a City shirt. Doku was superb too. The team played fantastic in general.

Given that’s our problem area of the field it was great to see such a dominant performance in central midfield

But but they didn't have the midfield powerhouse Kelvin playing

Agree....but went Phil, whatever (and there must have been something) outside football that was on his mind, seems sorted.....looks almost back, certainly a level above the first half of the season.
