They probably aren’t, but if they’re keeping them to recreate that Mancini picture… god help us that would be amazing.
Imagine the absolute storm of frothing piss from all involved! And it’d be another middle finger up to the “115”!

I can’t see Stones playing any position given his injuries, whatever they might be

Midfield is out of the question as that requires more strain on his body than playing defence

I can see Akanji playing right back, I think he would get caught on the ball too often in midfield

The reason that Khusanov’s squad number is so high at 45 is because the intention is for all the squad numbers of the January signings to add up to 115.
 
Luiz is a lazy signing if true. Not our level and a loan would just be a waste. Hope I’m wrong but we should have been aiming for a quality signing this window and had 3-4 months to look at a midfield target. Has been the obvious weakness but we’ve not addressed it yet which is very strange.

To be fair I think they have a crisis at centre back and have offloaded a couple players already. I don’t think they’d sell someone like Cambiaso before summer as Motta wants to secure champions league football and he is now an integral part of it.

Hence why they’re looking to offload likes of Luiz and other fringe players first.

Which players have they signed? Linked with many, true, yet the only player they appear to have signed so far is Alberto Costa, no?
