Cheers, I generally find much to agree with in your summations in the political threads, but as I wrote in the US politics thread I think I need a break from here.

I find myself reading incredible drivel that I no longer have the will to debate.
People are entrenched in their views and although to many of us outside looking in to their seemingly transparent world, things just appear to be obvious, I just have no desire anymore to waste my own time convincing them otherwise.

Keep up the good fight.

Am neither a Christian nor a believer but I do happen to know that Jesus emphasised 'agape' (impartial love of neighbour), and 'splanchnizomai' (spontaneous compassion for others) in his preaching. Trump and Vance are therefore about as far away from exemplifying the gospel message as it is possible to get.

Don’t forget the bit where Jesus said; take unto thee huge numbers of automatic guns and give them to thine children. They can then take these to their school, murder children and their teachers, because a piece of paper said that would always be their right and some men will prosper from all the killings.
Also, cross out the bits about the meek and the poor inheriting the earth and charity, and being kind in spirit as well as the rich men not going to heaven.

Crypto seems to be the Wild, Wild West and the Govt has wanted to rein it in a abit to help regulate it and create a safe space for investors. Let’s remove all those guardrails, talk up Crypto like we are not only going to be the global leader, but force our Treasury to buy it as a reserve “currency.” Then, I’ll float my own “coin,” just like Elon did. I’ll keep 80% of the “coins” but The Cult will lap up the other 20%. Then, after they’ve created some semblance of a “Market” for the coin, I can simply quote the market value of the 20%, quadruple it, and add it to my own asset value…more billions!!

It’s genius! And not corrupt AT ALL!!

Oh, and if there are any people, especially foreigners, who want my grace and favor, let them know about the coins and how many they need to buy for an audience or phone call.
