So much for the green shoots of recovery …
We’ve been awful, with and without the ball. Can’t get anywhere near them, and no coherence in our attacking play.
Ederson and Dias have done fine. Bernardo is running his bollocks off in an utterly thankless role. Not much to say for the rest.

How the hell is it allowed to have Rio as commentator for City games. Him and McCoist getting on my t**ts. They’ve been rooting for PSG all half
I thought the opposite. They have been rooting for City but have to keep self checking to be non bias.

Gundo and stones on second half..
Stones to go straight back off after 5 minutes...
Gundo gets walked past 2 times and we concede..

Personally I'd take Bernie off
Phil in the middle put jack on and draw as many fouls as we can to take us to full time...

I’m assuming any BEIN sports alternative for the second half will be just as bad.
Do the USA have a different comms team? Is this comp on CBS over there?

How can you watch this and think we don't need help in the midfield?
Foden dribbling in the middle of the park moments after Savinho had done the same, both losing possession. Times have changed. Gone are the days when we’d just pass it and keep it.
Who are they supposed to pass to? How anyone can watch this game and think we don't need help in the midfield and that we haven't f&cked around for the last three weeks of the transfer window is beyond me.

It's been evident for a long time that we needed help in MF. It was evident in November. This is the same stuff we've seen for months.

The help in defense is great -- and needed too. Marmoush will help the attack and is a great player to bring in.

But the primary need still hasn't been addressed.

We got no legs in the midfield.
Much bigger problem is upfront and the whole team is gone when it comes to energy, it is just not there. So when we come up against the team with plenty of it we struggle, and add ability on the ball and we just look mediocre like tonight. This team can play Pep-ball only when playing against complete dross, otherwise it is what it is.

We are looking a bit old out there, so I am looking forward to seeing the likes of Khusanov, Reis, and Marmoush in action. Having said that, this is a 50/50 match, and we can definitely still win here.
Rodri makes this team turn into Benjamin button, it’s amazing what his dominance brings in the anchor

What a miserable lot you are. For a bit of realism Paris are a top side and City have and will find it hard. This is not Ipswich!

Thank God the real supporters support the team and travel all over Europe to follow City, This lot here are unreal. Negative shit from minute 1 till last.

Nunes was through several times and yet Kevin didn’t pass the ball. It’s the same with counters when Bernardo after all this years doesn’t have the long pass ability and rather turns once again towards our goal and lets the opposition come back. This are 2 factors of our game that are horrible wrong next to the biggest fact that we have no midfield.

Tonight just shows how much work we’ve got to do in terms of rebuilding to get back to our level.

We haven’t got a midfield and we can’t get anywhere near them with our press. Bernado, Kovacic and De Bruyne are all a yard or two off the pace and need replacing.

Also, when we’re up against it like tonight, it would be good if we carried a threat from our corners, but they’ve been horrendous.

Guardiola needs to earn his corn at half time if we’re going to get anything tonight.

This is more like the City of nov/dec than Jan sadly. Weak as piss in the middle of the park again and we just keep holding onto the ball and giving it away. Foden there for the disallowed goal, loads of others doing it as well. Not a great half and unless we improve a lot we will lose this.
