Some appalling effort and pride shown on that pitch.
Got what we deserved.
I'll be amazed if we beat Brugge.
Some seem to think we'll beat them easily cos they're shit, though they're ahead of us in the table.

Also, I dont know what Rico Lewis has to do to convince Pep he is not a defender for this level of football. He has the talent, but he's a liability defensively. He's almost our Trent Alexander Arnold at this point.

I honestly think it would be better if we went out next week, so that we have a chance to make top 4/5 and qualify for next season as we look so fucking tired right now. Those thinking Khusnetsov and Reis won't be playing much immediately need to think again, we cannot cope with 3 games a week with the currently fit players.

If we don't get midfielders, then February/March will see us out of contention anyway.

You should never have complaints if you are beaten by a better team but to lose because half your players don't put the same effort in as the opposition is damning.

Foden and Lewis our supposed best young players were shown up by a PSG that simply wanted to win more. Both were found out by the simple press and when they lost the ball couldn't even be bothered getting back. Phil needs to stop believing the hype and get back to work. Lewis needs selling off he is nowhere good enough for a top team.

Kovacic was involved in the pivotal moment trying to run out and being pressed, losing the ball and not being able to get back - Bernie too was very poor and there is the issue with this team. Kev is the ONLY elder midfielder that should play. He was on his own for large parts of this match and was knackered.

Only blue tinted glasses wearing fools think Lewis is supposed to be one of the best young players….

That’s unfair. He’s not a bad player and he tries his best when he’s on the pitch.

Unfortunately, his attributes as a player typify this current City side. He’s not strong, lacks pace, lacks creativity and is happy to play safe passes all the time with no risk.
